Ink & Inspiration

Hello and welcome. It is time for another Ink & Inspiration blog hop. Our focus this time around is techniques. There are so many different techniques you can use in making cards and paper crafting in general. The one I chose to work with was creating texture with embossing paste.

I love using embossing paste as you can do so many different things with it. You can even colour it by adding some ink refill to it. Today on my card below, I simply used a palette knife to dab it into the card stock to create waves. It was so easy to do and looks very effective.

Now that you have seen my project, it is time to see what everyone else has done.

Have a great day.

Freshly Brewed Projects - Little Ladybug

Hello and welcome. Today it is time for another Freshly Brewed Projects from the Latte Girls. Our theme this week is the cute Little Ladybug stamp set. Who doesn't love ladybugs. I used to love finding them when I  was small and just admiring their bright colours. I was always disappointed when they would fly off.

I made two cards for todays blog hop. One in yellow and one in orange. Which one do you prefer?

This is the stamp set if you haven't seen it yet. I just love it!

Isn't is just adorable? It can be yours when you host a party and accumulate enough sales to earn it as  a host reward. If you don't want a party in your home, that's ok, you can have a virtual party online or you can even have a catalogue party. Either way, you have the chance to get this stamp set for free. Just contact me if you are interested in having any of the parties I mentioned.

I also used the Ladybug Dies for the flower tops and the ladybugs so they popped off the page and didn't look so flat. Did you notice the grass? That was created using the dies too.

Now that you have seen my cards, it is time to see what the rest of the Latte Girls have created.

To purchase any of the products I have used today, head to my online store, or click on each items below, or use one of my other ordering options.

Thanks for dropping by.
Have a great day.
Cheers,
Narelle

Pleased As Punch

Hello and welcome. Today I have two cards to share with you that are super simple and have minimal stamping. If you are not a fan of stamping, then you are going to love these cards.

See the only stamping on them is the sentiment, but you could just as easily not include that and they would still make awesome cards. The hearts are simply punched from the Pleased As Punch Designer Series Paper, using one of the punches from the Heart Punch Pack.

I just love how Stampin' Up! have great product coordination. The heart punch pack was released in the Mini Catalogue and was designed to coordinate with the From My Heart Suite of products. But now Stampin' Up! have released the Pleased As Punch paper so we can get even more use from our punches. I love it!  The paper not only works with the heart punches, but the Umbrella Builder Punch, Tulip Builder Punch and the Small Bloom Punch. Amazing!

See the products I used below. You can purchase all these products and more in my online store or by contacting me via one of the other methods.
