Blossoms in Bloom

Hello and welcome. Today I have a couple of cards to show you using the Blossoms in Bloom Bundle. And the two cards started out as one. I used a fun technique I saw in a video, and it's super easy too. Here are the two cards.

First I will tell you about the products and then about the technique. As I said earlier I have used the Blossoms in Bloom bundle. You all know I love flowers, so this was a must have to add to my collection. There are a few reasons why I fell in love with it besides it just being floral. The stamp set has a beautiful watercolour look to it that can be used with or without the dies. But add the dies and you get a whole new dimension to your projects. The dies themselves can be used with the stamp set but also work great independently. Here is the bundle in case you haven't seen it.

So now I will talk about the technique. You basically make a design like you normally would and cut it in half. To make mine,  I took a piece of Whisper White card stock that measured 4 7/8" x 7 3/4". I drew  a line down the middle and then created my design making sure that I centred my stamped image on the line. I added the two layers of die cuts and then cut the whole thing in half. Once mounted onto coloured card stock and glued to card fronts I ended up with two cards. You can see in  the picture below how they started as the one image.  This technique is so much fun.

Here are the individual cards again.

You can purchase all the supplies I used to create these cards in my online store.
