Freshly Brewed Projects - My Favourite Suite

Hello and welcome. Today it is time for another Freshly Brewed Projects. Our theme this time around is our favourite suite from the new catalogue. Oh my, only one? There are so many wonderful suites to choose from.

For me it was really easy in the end. I love flowers and the Flowers For Every Season Suite definitely fulfills that criteria. It contains two amazing stamp sets, a punch, dies and the most gorgeous patterned paper. Plus shaker domes and embellishments. It's amazing. If you haven't seen it yet, make sure you scroll down the bottom of this post.

So with such an amazing array of products in this suite, deciding what to use was hard. In the end I decided to try a new technique cased from a card in the catalogue on page 13. Here is my interpretation.

I made my base card from the new Cinnamon Cider card stock so my card is a lot richer in colour than the one in the catalogue. Basically you stamp your design in Memento Ink then colour it with a white pencil. I used the white from our watercolour pencils. Then you colour over the white with different colours. It was so much fun and I love how it came out.

Now that you have seen my card, hop over to see what Libby has created.

If you get lost along the way, here is everyone participating in todays blog hop.
