Types of Stamps

Hello and welcome. Stamps are the back bone of what Stampin' Up! is all about. It's what started the wonderful company we all love today. When Shelli and her sister couldn't find the type of stamps they wanted to create with, they started making their own and Stampin' Up! was born. That was over 30 years ago and we are still loving the wonderful array of stamps released each year.

Did you know that we have two different types of stamps and each has its own unique advantages.

The first type is the red rubber stamp you can see on the left in the picture above.
They are what we refer to as Cling stamps. They are called Cling stamps because of the label that has a special coating that helps the stamps Cling to the acrylic block. The red rubber is mounted onto a layer of foam which makes them ideal for stamping detailed designs.

You can see all the Cling stamps we have here.

The second type of stamps are clear and totally see through which we call Photopolymer. That is actually the type of material they are made out of. These types of stamps are perfect for precision placement in your stamping and are often used for multi step stamps.

You can see all the Photopolymer stamps we have here.

Both of the types of stamps attach temporarily to our acrylic blocks. Our acrylic blocks are just one item in our range of stamping tools.  We have every size you need for all our stamps. They are comfortable and easy to hold. We make it easy to know what block you need for your stamps as we recommend the sizes against each stamp set in the catalogue, on the online store and  by printing the images on the stamp cases at 100%, unless stated otherwise.

You can see all the clear blocks here.

You can purchase all these products and more in my online store.

If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Thanks for dropping by.
Have a great day.
Cheers,
Narelle
