Sketch Challenge

Hello and welcome. Today I am taking part in a sketch challenge. I love doing these as they certainly get the creative juices flowing. All the design work is done for you really. But that doesn't mean that you can't alter the sketch either. Both ways are definitely fun.

So this sketch challenge is being run by The Crafty Medic, Stefanie Pletcher. This is the sketch below. Isn't it a fun one. So versatile too. You can enter a creation using this sketch too. Just click on the image below to go to her site and submit your project.

So this is what I made with the sketch.

This was so quick and fun. I actually had the flower already stamped and die cut sitting in my odds and ends bowl on my desk. I had used two the same on another card and had planned on using three. But it was just too much, so rather than discard the flower, I popped into the bowl to use later. As it turned out, it was perfect for this sketch.

I used a leaf wreath from the beautiful Forever Gold Specialty Laser Cut paper behind it. It just added the right amount of glam without all the die cutting. The paper I used is from the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper. I was lucky that there was a piece with pink on it that was perfect for this card. The sentiment was die cut using the Well Written Dies and the new Foam Adhesive Sheets. I love these! They add instant dimension and are perfect for adding interest to things like these sentiments. Before these sheets you would have to use multiple layers of the die cut and not get anywhere near the dimension the foam gives.

You can purchase all the supplies I used to create this card in my online store here.
