Using Markers

Hello and welcome. Today I want to tell you about one easy technique you can do using Stampin' Write Markers. I have used the beautiful Hand Drawn Blooms stamp set for this as it shows the effects of the technique wonderfully. But first the card.

If you haven't seen the stamp set yet, here it is.

If you notice the large bouquet of flowers and greenery, it is one complete stamp. So how did I get it in different colours on my card. Well thats where the markers come into it. Simply colour the stamp with the brush end of your markers instead of using an ink pad. Once it is all coloured, huff onto the stamp to refresh the ink. The moistness of your breath with re wet the ink. Then just stamp onto your cardstock. It gives a lovely water colour type effect.

I made this card for the Simply Inked Team Highlights. Beryl from the team played along with the Using Markers theme and made this card.

You can purchase from Beryl's online store here. She has used - Happy Birthday To You stamp set, Daffodil Delight, Merry Merlot and Whisper White Cardstock, Call Me Clover, Lovely Lipstick, Pineapple Punch, and Grapefruit [2028-2020 InColor] Markers, Tangerine Tango and Berry Burst Markers, Gilded Gems, Tombow glue and Dimensionals. Stamp was done with Gold Delicate Ink Pad.

Using markers to colour your stamps opens up an endless list of possibilities. Our markers come in every single colour of the rainbow and then some. See them all below.
