Trees

Hello and welcome. Today I wanted to do a post about trees. At this time of year we see the winter trees without leaves and some early signs of spring with new growth on others. I love trees and being in a forest walking through the leaves at this time of year is bliss. Then of course in summer being ever so grateful for the shade they provide. And then of course at this time of year we also start to think about Christmas trees. So what better way to celebrate trees than to create card with trees on it.

But with all the tree stamps we offer, I opted to not even use a tree stamp! Instead I thought I would show you how you can create cool trees with our Stitched Triangle Dies. So easy and they make wonderful Christmas trees.

This card was so incredibly easy to make. The hardest decision was what papers to use for my trees. But once selected, I just used the Stitched Triangle Dies to cut out a triangle which became my tree.

Ink & Inspiration - Kids and Babies

Hello and welcome. It is time for another Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop. Our theme this time around is Kids & Babies. I can't wait to see what everyone has created.

I really don't have much in the way of kids and babies stamp sets. My kids are now teenagers and there are no babies in the family anymore, so I tend to not buy much suited to this theme. Lucky for me though I have the Dino Days stamp set and Dino dies. I think I bought these as my son was mad about Dinosaurs when he was small and I wanted to do a few scrapbook pages using them. For today though, I made a card with them.

Isn't it just the cutest! And I love how the paper from the Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper suited the dinosuar theme so well.

Now that you have seen my creation, it is time to see what everyone else has created.

Have a great day.
Cheers,
Narelle

Inspired by World's Greatest Paper Pumpkin

Hello and welcome. Today I am taking part in a blog hop that is inspired by the August Paper Pumpkin Kit. I know we don't have the regular Paper Pumpkin Kits in Australia, but that doesn't mean that I can't use the USA offering and it's theme as inspiration. The August Paper Pumpkin Kit looks like this.

I took the trophy cups on the right as my inspiration and came up with this. It was so much fun to make and got my brain working as to what I could use to create a cup like this.

I started with the World Map Dies as I knew I could use the stand for the globe as the stem of my trophy cup. Then I cut out a globe shape and used the die again to cut a section away to get the cup shape at the top. The handles are from using the swirly die in the pack, but one was cut on the reverse side of the gold foil sheet to give the opposite shape. If you take a look at the dies in my product list below you will be able to see exactly what pieces I used.

Now that you have seen my project, it is time to see what everyone has created.

Freshly Brewed - Ways With Shapes

Hello and welcome. It is time for another Freshly Brewed Projects blog hop and our theme this time around is Ways with Shapes. This is such a broad theme that you are going to see a large variety of ideas.

For my project today I used the very versatile Stitched Rectangle Dies. These dies are so very versatile and fantastic for creating layers. But I wanted them to be a feature in themselves as an element on my project and not just a backing for something else. So I used three of them. Two as design elements and one for the sentiment.

Now that you have seen my card, it it time to see what Nicole has done with shapes.

Here is the list of everyone hopping along in case you get lost along the way.

·       Libby Dyson

·       Narelle Fasulo

·       Nicole Wilson

·       Leonie Schroder

·       Debbie Yeomans

·       Jeanne Moss
