Inspired by Paper Pumpkin

Hello and welcome. Today I am taking part in a blog hop that is inspired by the September Paper Pumpkin Kit. I know we don't have the regular Paper Pumpkin Kits in Australia, but that doesn't mean that I can't use the USA offering and it's theme as inspiration. The September Paper Pumpkin Kit looks like this.

I know it's coming into summer soon here in Australia, but I think I should have been born in America. Even though I love Australia dearly, I also love the idea of many of the American traditions. The idea of Fall with all the pumpkins, Halloween and Thanksgiving, just sounds so wonderful. So I tried to channel my inner American want-to-be mind and came up with this.

Now I don't own any Halloween or pumpkin themed stamp sets, but I do own a 2" circle punch. That is what I used to make my pumpkin. I am actually really pleased with how it turned out. We are actually growing pumpkins in our veggie patch right now. My daughter and I noticed a few flowers on them yesterday, so fingers crossed we get a healthy crop. Anyone say pumpkin soup....mmmm....it will be the height of summer when we harvest them, so I will just put the aircon on super cold when we enjoy our bowls of homegrown pumpkin soup.

Now that have seen my project, it is time to see what everyone else has made.

Thanks for dropping by.
Have a great day.
Cheers,
Narelle
