Stampin' For Christmas Blog Hop

Hello and welcome. Today I am taking part in new blog hop. It is called Stampin' For Christmas and every month throughout the year we will be creating Christmas cards to share with you. What a wonderful way to get all your cards made through the year so it's not so rushed close to the event. I think we can all relate that we always think we have lots of time to get things done and then realise we have left it way too late to get started.

For my card today I actually did no stamping at all. I just used dies and paper. I could have added a sentiment across the middle but I then it would have covered up the beautiful plush flocked vellum.

I think everyone can relate the Poinsettia to Christmas so no sentiment is needed. I love these dies. Not only is there a die to cut out the leaves but another die you can add when you cut that embosses the veins in the leaves. Just brilliant. There are ones the same for the petals on the flowers too. But  these ones can be tricky to line up as the petals are all different shapes. So I have a trick to share that will take the frustration out of getting them lined up correctly. Simply mark them with a sharpie in one spot. Then simply line these up for a perfect fit each time.

Now that  you have seen my creation, it is time to see what Jo has created.

Here is the list of everyone playing along in case you get lost along the way.

Thanks for dropping by.
Have a great day.
Cheers,
Narelle
