Hello and welcome. Today I finally got around to playing with the Peony Dies. I have only had these since the Annual Catalogue went live. But they scared me...hehe...They look so daunting. I had used the dies which cut out the stamped images, but the dies that build the 3D flower looked hard. I was determined to sit down and conquer my fear! This is what I created with them.
Oh my, what was I scared about! These dies are so so easy. I started with cutting all the bits out and then realised they all just slot together. So so easy! They aren't scary or hard at all. I can see me using these more as I just love a good flower, and a 3D one that is so easy to put together....yep totally me.
I cut out all the bits in Whisper White paper and then assembled the flower. I then took it all apart to water colour the petals, and assembled it again. When I put all the petals together I realised I needed to put a bit more colour on it. Then I decide to add some darker splashes. For a first time play with these dies, I think it turned out ok.
I made this card so that I could play along with the latest Just Add Ink Challenge.
I made a process video of me playing with these dies if you want to watch it below.
Thanks for dropping by.
Have a great day.
Cheers,
Narelle
