December Holidays

Hello and welcome. Today I am participating in a Winter Holidays Blog Hop.  Now the organiser lives in the Northern Hemisphere whereas I am in the Southern Hemisphere. Since it is summer here and definitely not winter, I will refer to this as the December Holidays Blog Hop.

When most people think of holidays in December, they think of Christmas. But there are lots of other holidays in December as well. This blog hop is to challenge us to make something for any other December holiday except Christmas.

I must admit, I had no idea about any other December holidays than Christmas. So a quick google search and I had a few ideas. The easiest one I could do was Hanukkah. I knew candles and the Menorah were significant to this holiday. So this is what I made.

I actually don't have any candle stamps except for the big ones in the Christmas set Sweetest Time. So I had to think out of the box. I looked for something skinny and tall, and came across the Winter Woods stamp set and it's stand of tree trunks. They make great candles too!
The Hnnukkah sentiment stamp came from the A Wish For Everything stamp set.

Now that you have seen my December Holidays except Christmas project, let's see what everyone else has made.

Thanks for dropping by.
Have a great day.

You can purchase all the supplies I have used in my online shop here.
