A bright scrap page

Hello and welcome. Today I have a scrap page to share with you that I made for a challenge group. The theme was bright colours and grunge look. We had this mood board to use as inspiration.

A lot of people went the graffiti route, but I focused on the bright colours instead. This is what I came up with.

As soon as I saw the bright colours I knew I wanted to scrap these photos of my daughter at the park. I kept the background simple by just using coloured strips of card stock. I added a touch of grunge by roughing up the edges using my paper snips.

If you are interested n playing along in our monthly challenges, head over to Off The Rails Scrapbooking and check out the latest one.

Have a great day.

Forever & Always

Hello and welcome. Today I am excited to share my first Artisan Design Team Project with you. It is always fun when you get to play with product you love and when I was assigned the Forever & Always Bundle to design with, I was over the moon. If you haven't guessed, I love flowers. So here are my first Artisan projects to share.

I hope you like them.

If you haven't seen the Forever & Always bundle, here it is.

Look at those beautiful large word stamps and the matching dies. I love a great stamp set and dies with large enough sentiments that can also be used for scrap pages. And of  course I just had to include them on both of my cards.

As I mentioned this was my first assignment for the Artisan Design Team. I can tell you we were all very nervous, but everyone made fantastic projects. Make sure you pop over to the Stampin' Up facebook page here, or by clicking on the image below, to see the showcase of the whole teams projects.

Thanks for dropping by.
Have a great day.
Cheers,

Handsomely Suited

Hello and welcome. It is time for another Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop. Our theme this time around is Special Occasion. What a great theme. So broad so you are sure to see a great variety in projects today to inspire you.

For my project today I decided to make a Father's Day card. I know in the southern hemisphere it is still eight months away, but I have a plan to donate a lot of Father's Day cards to a local charity to distribute with their meal service. So if I don't start making them now, I won't have enough. Plus it is a great excuse to play with the fun Handsomely Suited stamp set and matching Suit and Tie Dies.

Isn't this a fun suite! Do you know anyone who would wear something like this? When I saw this paper in the Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper, I just knew I would use it for a suite. It reminds me of the 1980's with the awful fashions of the time. I think you possibly may have seen a few men in something like this in a few night clubs in the day....hehe.

Now that you have seen my project, it is time to see what everyone else has made.

Pretty Perennials

Hello and welcome. It is time for another Freshly Brewed Projects. Our theme this time is Pretty Petals. We have so many floral themed products, you are sure to see a wide variety in this hop.

For my project today I decided to use the Pretty Perennials stamp set. I love this set for several reasons. The first is that large happy sentiment. It makes me happy just looking at it! And then of course the many wonderful floral images and their watercolour look. Add the Perennial Petals Dies, which I didn't use today, and your creative options explode.
This is what I made using just the stamp set.

Aren't those flowers so subtle and beautiful. To achieve the lighter look, I inked up the stamps and stamped off once onto scrap paper before I stamped onto my card stock. I didn't want the flowers too dark as I wanted the sentiment, stamped in Night of Navy, to stand out more.

Now that you have seen my project, it is time to see what everyone else has made.

Kangaroo & Company Sending Hearts

Hello and welcome. Today I am taking part in a Paper Pumpkin Blog Hop. Paper Pumpkin is  a monthly subscription box offered by Stampin' Up! in North America only. Being in Australia, I can't get the box but it is always fun to use it as inspiration. The theme for the current Paper Pumpkin is Sending Hearts.

This was such an easy Paper Paper to recreate. We have several products of hearts that could be used, and I decided to also incorporate the 'sending' component. The Kangaroo & Company stamp set was perfect for this.

I love how this turned out with the Kangaroo Mummy sending a letter full of love hearts to her joey.

Now that you have seen my project, it is time to what everyone else has created.
