Hello and welcome. It is time for another Freshly Brewed Projects and our theme this time around is based around the Decorative Masks that we sell. There are so many techniques you can do with masks. You are sure to see a variety today.
For my project, I decided to do a simple technique of just using a blending brush with the mask. I wanted a soft subtle background and stencils and blending are perfect for this.
I love how I was also able to create a faded ombre type of look. I achieved this by concentrating my blending on one spot where I knew it would be covered by the flowers and blending out, making sure that I applied less ink the further from the centre I went.
The flowers I have used on this card are not actually a stamp, but are fussy cut from a sheet of the True Love Designer Series Paper. I coloured them with Rococo Rose and Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends.
Now that you have seen my project, it is time to see what Debbie has created.
Here is the list of everyone playing along today.
