Fine Art Floral Scrap Page

Hello and welcome. Today I have another scrap page for you, this time using the gorgeous Fine Art Floral paper. Oh my this paper is just stunning and so me! There are flowers, flowers and more flowers.  This is the first scrap page I have made using this wonderful paper.

I have used the gray based floral paper across the centre of the page and based the photo on the reverse side. Then I placed a sheet of the Golden Garden Specialty Acetate on a piece of Smoky Slate card stock as my page base. I love this acetate and have actually used one piece on a framed piece I will show you later down the page.

I have kept the embellishing to a minimum with only two bunches of stamped flowers, some white bakers twine and a few gold gilded gems. The heading is actually from the die set that coordinates with the stamp set in the suite. I love word dies, and when they can be used as headings on a scrap page, they are even better.

Actually I have a confession to make. Before I came to my final page, I changed the base colour cardstock a few times until I finally settled on this one. I had tried Basic Gray but thought it was too dark and then tried Pool Party which I am still undecided on. Which one do you like the best? The Smokey Slate one above or the Pool Party one below.

Remember earlier I told you that I had used some of the paper in a wall art piece. Well one of the specialty acetate papers overlays perfectly one of the papers from the designer series paper. It looks so pretty. So I popped it into a frame and hung it on my office wall. I added nothing to it as I love the way it looks. It is so delicate and beautiful.

If you haven't seen all the products in this wonderful suite, check them out below.

Thanks for dropping by.
Have a wonderful day.
Cheers,
Narelle
