Mountain Air

Hello and welcome. It is time for another Freshly Brewed Projects. Our theme this time around is Windows. What an interesting theme and open to so much variety.

For my card today, I decided that I wanted to create a scene you would see from a window. I could have gone for a seaside scene, but decided that a tranquil log cabin mountain scene was what I was in the mood for.

I started by making the window. I took a piece of the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper and drew up a grid to represent the window panes. I tried to choose a piece of paper that looked like a wooden log cabin. Then I very carefully used the Paper Trimmer to cut out the window panes.

Then on a piece of Basic White card stock the same size as the designer series paper, I created a scene using the Mountain Air stamp set. This set is a Reversible set. One side of the stamp stamps the detail and the other side fills in.

Once the stamping was done, I layered my window over the top and then glued it to the card front.

Now that you have seen my creation, it is time to see what everyone else has made.
