NEW Spiral Dye Stamp from Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome. Today I have an easy card making background technique using the new Spiral Dye stamp set.

Sometimes we want to make quick cards and this Spiral Dye stamp makes that very achievable.

It is a large stamp and is what we call a Background stamp. That means that it is large enough to cover the entire front of a card. It's so quick and easy to make a great card with this and other background stamps. All you need to do is add a sentiment and your done.

This stamp is great when stamped once, but it was designed to be turned 180 degrees and then stamped again. This fills on the pattern more. In my sample, I decided to have a play and stamp once, then rotate it just a little bit, maybe 20 degrees. Then I stamped in a different colour, then repeated again. It gave me a really cool and variegated pattern.

I could have left it like that and just added a sentiment. But I had an idea in my head that I wanted to create some spaces with sentiments in them. So I grabbed a piece of Basic White card stock the same size as the stamped panel, and punched out some spots using the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch. I had an assortment of sentiments on my bench from the Many Messages Bundle. They were perfect for placing in the rectangles.

You can purchase all the supplies I have used in my online store below, or by using any of my other ordering methods.

Thanks for dropping by.
Have a great day.
