A Whimsical Christmas

Hello and welcome. Today I am taking part in the Freshly Brewed Projects Blog Hop. I haven't participated for quite some time, but it is good to be back. Our theme this week is A Whimsical Christmas.

When I saw the theme, I knew I just had to use the Whimsey & Wonder Suite. Not only are the papers a delicious mix of whimsical colours, but the stamps are whimsically drawn as well. This is what I came up with.

I started with a Basic White card base and a Blushing Bride top layer which measures 4" x 5 3/4". I used Versamark ink to stamp the holly leaves down the left hand side of the top layer. Then I glued a strip of that drop dead gorgeous holly patterned paper onto the cardstock. That strip measures 4"  x 1 3/4".
The whimsy trees were stamped onto Basic White cardstock. Two were stamped in Blushing Bride and the middle  one was stamped in Coastal Cabana. Then I used the Stamparatus to stamp the dots on each tree in the other colour. So the Blushing Bride trees have Coastal Cabana dots, and the Coastal Cabana tree has Blushing Bride dots. I did one tree at a time, as before I  moved to the next tree, I cleaned my stamp and then stamped the dost again in Versamark. They were then heat embossed in clear embossing powder.
I wrapped some white bakers twine around the panel and tied to a bow. Then attached the panel to the card front
The three trees where then attached to the card front using dimensionals.
I stamped the sentiment using Versamark and heat embossed in white. Then used the Painted Labels Dies to cut it out then attach it to the card front using dimensionals. A cute little bow and some rhinestones on the trees finished off the card.

Now that you have seen my creation, it is time to see what everyone else has made.
