Daisy Garden - Part 3

Hello and welcome. Today is part three in my series of posts on  the Daisy Garden stamp set. This is a background stamp set so is a large one. I find a lot of people get stuck on how to use a large background stamp. So I want to share with you several ways to use them.

This is the beautiful Daisy Garden stamp set if you haven't seen it yet.

For today's card, I used the spotlight technique. The idea of this technique is that you highlight, or showcase a section of a design. You can see that I stamped the Daisy Garden stamp twice, one in yellow and one in blue. The blue one, I punched a circle from and attached it to the yellow one over the same section. So it spotlighted (mmm...is that a word?) that section.

I used a sketch from Becky Fleck for the design of this card. As soon as I saw the circles on this sketch, I instantly thought of the spotlight technique.

You can purchase all the supplies I have used in my online store below, or by using any of my other ordering methods.

Thanks for dropping by.
Have a great day.
Cheers,
Narelle
