Stamp 'N Hop - Case Each Other

Hello and welcome. Today I am taking part in the Stamp 'N Hop Blog Hop. It's been a while since I have joined the girls.

The theme for this hop is to Case Each Other. What an amazing theme.  Case means to copy and selectively edit, or take inspiration from. All the participants in this are very talented and truly amazing. In face it was hard to narrow down my choices. In the end I decided to Case Victoria Littlewood from Vicki Lou Designs and her Henna Hearts card below.

I don't have the Henna Hearts stamp set, which is good as I didn't want to copy her exactly. But I did want to copy the swirls, the colouring and the clean look. So I decided to use the Elegantly Said stamp set. This gave me the swirls and the opportunity to add colour. This is what I came up with.

I know I said I wanted to recreate her clean and simple look, but I couldn't help adding the border top and bottom. At least I didn't use any designer series paper....hehe.

I simply stamped the large corner stamp in the set twice, positioning it so they slightly overlapped in the middle. You will understand what I mean when you look at the stamp set below. I then chose a variety of Stampin' Blends and coloured the images. The sentiment and borders were stamped in Real Red. The sentiment was punched out using the Tailored Tag punch and attached using dimensionals.

This is the stamp set I used - Elegantly Said.

Now that you have seen my creation, it is time to see what everyone else has made.

You can purchase all the supplies I have used in my online store below, or by using any of my other ordering methods.

Thanks for dropping by.
Have a great day.
