Country Fair by Mintay - A New Series

Hello and welcome. Today I want to tell you about a new series I am doing. It's all about scrapbooking using the beautiful Country Fair Collection by Mintay Papers.

This paper is just stunning, but for many people they can be daunted by the  heavy detail of the paper designs. In this new series I will show you how to easily use these papers and not be daunted by them any more.

Here is the first page I made with the collection,  then some close ups and finally the video.

You can purchase this collection in my online store here.

Have a great day.

Kitty

Hello and welcome. Yesterday I shared how to create a layout quickly and easily by using a pre prepared base page. Well I did it again today.

See the layout and close ups below, and then the video of the page being completed.

Using Base Pages

Hello and welcome. Today I made a scrap page using a base page I has previously made. Base pages are the beginnings for a layout. They are just the bare bones of the card stock and patterned paper. I love making them when I feel like doing something scrapping related but can't be bothered printing out photos and gathering embellishments. I still feel like I am achieving something.

When you feel like completing a page, having base pages at the ready can make completing the page so much easier and faster. All the basic design work has been done.

The page I did today was a bit more themed than a normal base page, but it still came together quite painlessly. Here are some photos, followed by the video of the page being completed.

#cardsforukraine with Polka Dot Orchard

Hello and welcome. Have you seen the social media campaign called #cardsforukraine? It is basically anyone who makes cards, creating to raise awareness for Ukraine. The movement has gained quite a lot of momentum, so I have decided to jump on board.

It's been a while since I made a card. So I felt a bit rusty. But I had so much fun once I got going.

The idea started with the Whoops-A-Daisy digital stamp set by Polka Dot Orchard.

I have mentioned before how I love using digital stamps. I think the thing I love the most, is the ability to resize them. It's just wonderful.

If you want to see how I made this card, watch the video below.

Here are a few more images of the card.
