Hippest Hippos goes snorkeling

Hello and welcome. Today I have another card using the Hippest Hippos stamp set and the matching Hippo Dies. I just had to have a play with all the accessories in the dies. The snorkel is such a fun accessory so I just had to make a card using that.

I started with sponging the background using Balmy Blue ink. Then I stamped and coloured the hippo. I die cut the boat and propeller from Basic Grey card stock, the snorkel and mask from Mint Macaron card stock, the life buoy and splash from Balmy Blue card stock, and two each of the waves from Balmy Blue and Mint Macaron card stock.

Once everything was glued in place, I stamped the sentiment, added some water droplets and  then some Iridescent Rhinestones.

Hippest Hippos

Hello and welcome. Today I used the Hippest Hippo stamps and matching dies. This is my first project using them which I made on a facebook live.

I wanted to make a card that could be used for a child through to a young adult. So I kept it a little cutesy. The background paper was created simply by stamping the sentiments from the stamp set repeatedly in different colours.

You can see how I made the card in the video below.

Both the Hippiest Hippos stamp set and matching Hippo Dies are free with a qualifying order until the end of August. Spend $90 in an order, before shipping, and choose the stamp set or the dies.

Another easy to copy design

Hello and welcome. Today I have another easy to copy card design. Sometimes we see all these stunningly beautiful cards and know that we can not easily recreate them. So I wanted to share with you a design that you can easily recreate. And with a change of supplies, you can make it look so very different.

This is quite a simple design. It's just three evenly sized panels placed on a card front. Then a stamped image is placed on each panel. Use different papers and stamps or embellishments and you will get a total different look.

Here are some close ups of the cards and a video where I talk about it more as I make the cards.
