Christmas in July

Hello and welcome. Ok so I really didn't need to use Christmas in July as an excuse to make a Christmas card. This year I am regularly making cards for the festive season so I have a stack to send at Christmas. Last year I sent not one, so this year I plan to make up for that poor effort.

Today's Christmas card is brought to you by the Peaceful Deer stamp set and the Merry Melody Embossing Folder.

I started with the embossed piece of card stock then cut out some trees using the retired Cloche Dies. Next where the deer that I coloured with Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends. But when I placed the deer onto the card they looked a little out of place. So I decided to stamp some trees behind them. Of course I did it the lazy way and stamped onto the embossed card stock. I should have started with a new piece of card stock, then embossed it after I stamped. I don't think it looks too bad though. If you know me, you know I like to take short cuts every so often....hehe

Have you started your Christmas cards yet? It's never too early you know.

You can purchase all the supplies I have used in my online store below, or by using any of my other ordering methods.

Thanks for dropping by.
Have a great day.
Cheers,
Narelle
